Jan is a graduate engineer in Technical Cybernetics with more than 15 years of international industry experience as a developer, consultant, and leader at Accenture, Siemens, and Dassault Systèmes. Specializing in robotics and digital twins, he completed his doctoral research at RWTH Aachen on human–robot collaboration in Virtual and Augmented Reality. Since 2018, Jan has been a Professor of Virtual Systems at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences and also works as a speaker and strategy advisor, helping organizations to apply Physical AI across the value chain.
